Try to hire a room at Stadsdoelen Youth Hostel. They offer cheap dorms, priced between 24 eur and 26 eur. The staff is friendly and the mix of 11 ultra clean, single-sex and mixed rooms, each with up to 17 beds and free lockers, offer somehow a piece of privacy. There's a big TV room, a great smoke-free bar, pool table and laundry facilities.
