Korfball is a sport invented by an Amsterdam schoolteacher in 1903 and looks like the child of basketball, volleyball and netball. A team of 4 men and 4 women try to sink the ball in the basket, but unlike in basketball there is no running with the ball, and it's impossible for the team to feed the ball again and again to one player to shoot. Players may not hinder members of the opposite sex. There is more explanation on www.korfballnet.com.
