The Zeedijk Jazz & Blues festival, (for those who didn't know yet - the biggest jazz festival that takes place in Amsterdam) is held on the last weekend of November. There are hundreds of jazz and blues acts out on the street and in the subs along Zeedijk, all free of charge.
