On Staalstraat 12, between the Amstel, the Red Light District and Nieuwmarkt is theSterk Staaltje, a nice, rustique takeaway shop that sells lasagne, savoury pies, and lovely olives and cheeses. A well done lunch set might cost you about 5 €, but prices may vary a bit. Its open for lunch only.
