For something really funny yet natural, there is Amsterdamse Bos, which has a huge recreational area with an animal enclosure and a children's farm. If go on the right day, you can take an historic tram from Tram Museum Amsterdam, from near the Vondelpark to near the Bos, you and your kids will love it.
