Centraal Station and other 19th century neostyle buildings in Amsterdam.

Posted 1 year ago by avatar claire in response to avatar michelle's question: Amsterdam is known for its 19th century neostyle buildings, so I would like to find some of them for photos and my personal knowledge, with your help. (give a different answer) .

One of Amsterdam's finest neostyle building is the Centraal Station, designed by Pierre Cuypers. He also designed the Rijksmuseum, a successful mixture of Gothic forms and Dutch-Renaissance brickwork. You might also include in your tripping plans the CH Peter's general post office , nowadays Magna Plaza, with the same mixture.
