Can you give me some good examples of 18th century Luis Style building I would see in Amsterdam?(give a different answer) .
One that comes to my mind right now is the late-Luis-style Felix Meritis Building, where you can see the enormous Corinthian half-columns designed by Jakob Otten Husly. Another 18th century example is the Maagdenhuis, built in 1787 as a Catholic orphanage for girls, on the Spui, designed by city architect Abraham van der Hart, a sober interpretation of the new classicism.
