Well, Amsterdam tap water has a slight chemical taste, so mineral and soda are recommended instead. Dairy drinks include chocolate milk, Fristi - a yogurt drink - karnemelk - buttermilk. Coffee is one of the hot drink choices - after all some merchants of Amsterdam brought the coffee in Europe. Be sure to order Koffie verkeerd, not simply koffie, cause you might get a small cup of koffiemelk - some sort of unsweetened condensed milk.
