There is Amsterdam Woods, a pleasant place to spend a weekend in nature. What you can do here is to take fully advantage of the lakes, wooded areas, meadows, the animal enclosure with bison, the goat farm, the paths for walking, cycling and horse riding, the rowing course at the Bosbaan, with several water craft for hire. As you see, there's plenty to do for a couple of days.
